Height Pole Car

Our height pole operators have at least been operating a pilot car vehicle for minimum of 2 years before running high poles. They are trained in taking the measurements of the load height themselves as a secondary precaution. Each high pole car is equipped with a measuring device high pole. They will adjust the height to 6 inches above the load so that if an object is struck—such as trees, utility lines, signs or lights—the driver of the over-dimensional load can be alerted with plenty of time to slow down and maneuver, however possible, in a safe manner long before damage or an accident occurs.
